Hips, Knees and Shoulders encompass the majority of the large joint replacements performed at AOS.  Joint replacement can give significant pain relief and excellent return to function.

Younger patients, larger patients, previously injured.  We encourage patients with joint pain and poor motion to make an appointment for consultation. 

Hand Surgery includes problems from the fingers to the shoulder.  Dr Bryan Herron has been specializing in Hand Surgery since coming to Maryland.

Your bone health is a major concern!  Orthopaedists around the country are trying to take charge of treating weakened bones otherwise know as Osteoporosis.  Osteoporosis is a disease of progressive bone loss associated with an increased risk of fractures. The term osteoporosis literally means porous bone. The disease often develops unnoticed over many years, with no symptoms or discomfort until a fracture occurs.

AOS will diagnose and manage osteoporosis.  It's never too early to know your bone health!
